What I am burning down!
I’m burning down patience that quietly asks me to abandon my own truth.
I’m burning down the idea that insight alone creates change.
I’m burning down understanding as a substitute for embodiment.
I’m burning down explaining myself in order to feel safe or understood.
I’m burning down softening truth to protect connection.
I’m burning down over-functioning disguised as devotion.
I’m burning down the pattern of acting quickly when discomfort appears instead of returning to myself first.
I’m burning down harmony maintained at the cost of authenticity.
I’m burning down the need to resolve uncertainty in order to feel secure.
I’m burning down the identity built around being the one who understands first.
I’m burning down insight as an intellectual refuge from feeling.
I’m burning down the fear that honesty creates loss.
I’m burning down the urgency to soothe, fix, or restore emotional equilibrium.
I’m burning down the old nervous-system contract that safety comes from vigilance.
I’m burning down the need to be needed in order to feel secure in love.
I’m burning down the idea that transformation comes from thinking differently rather than living differently.
All of it! The building is on fire!
But, I’m not burning down love.
I’m burning down everything that stood between me and love.
What am I re-building from the ashes.
From the ashes, I’m building a life rooted in embodiment rather than insight.
From the ashes, I’m living truth instead of explaining it.
From the ashes, I’m allowing clarity to lead instead of effort.
From the ashes, I’m trusting the intelligence of the body as much as the mind.
From the ashes, I’m choosing presence over performance.
From the ashes, I’m letting honesty shape my life instead of harmony maintaining it.
From the ashes, I’m building safety from self-trust rather than vigilance.
From the ashes, I’m creating space for transformation instead of endlessly refining understanding.
From the ashes, I’m allowing energy to move through creation rather than control.
From the ashes, I’m living at the pace of truth rather than the pace of fear.
From the ashes, I’m creating a way of living where nothing real requires self-abandonment.
And maybe this is what transformation really looks like. Not becoming someone new, but removing everything that kept life at a distance. What remains is quieter, clearer, and strangely familiar. As if it was always waiting underneath the noise.
When what is false burns away, something deeply alive begins to move again. And once you feel that movement for yourself, you can’t unknow it. You don’t go back to understanding life.
You begin living it. From a whole new place.
